Sukruti Vahini means the stream of virtuous action.
The
name reflects the steady flow of goodness that comes from
thoughtful and compassionate work. It reminds us that when good
actions are carried out with care and sincerity, they gather
strength and touch many lives.
Like a river that quietly nourishes everything around it, Sukruti
Vahini represents positive action that brings comfort, dignity,
and hope wherever it reaches.
Our journey of service began in a simple and personal way. Over the years, we have helped people whenever we could by sharing food, providing medicines, and offering support in small but meaningful ways. These experiences slowly shaped a deeper wish to serve more people and to do so in a more organised and sustained manner.
With this intention, Sukruti Vahini was formed by Dr. Sangeetha A T, a homeopathy doctor by profession, and Sasikanth S N, a software engineer. What started as individual acts of care has grown into a collective effort built on sincerity, responsibility, and trust.
Our purpose is simple. We seek to serve where help is needed, to act with humility, and to bring warmth and reassurance into everyday life through consistent service.
Through Sukruti Vahini, we work to support people through practical and compassionate action. Our activities are currently focused in Bengaluru, where we continue to learn, grow, and serve with care.
Our work centres around three key areas: food, health, and education. In each of these, we believe that steady effort and genuine intent can create lasting impact.
Food is one of the most basic human needs, and sharing a meal is also an act of dignity and care. Through Sukruti Vahini, we prepare and distribute food to those in need, including people living in care homes and similar centres. We also work with volunteers and local communities to organise food distribution efforts so that nourishment reaches people in a timely and respectful manner.
Good health forms the foundation of a stable and fulfilling life. Through our medical initiatives, we aim to make basic healthcare more accessible, especially for those who may not receive regular attention. With the involvement of Dr. Sangeetha A T, we organise medical camps that focus on general health awareness, preventive care, and homeopathic consultation.
These camps are conducted in old age homes, orphanages, and community spaces where healthcare access is often limited. Along with treatment, we also share simple guidance on maintaining health through balanced habits and daily care.
Education opens doors to confidence and opportunity. Through Sukruti Vahini, we support children from underprivileged backgrounds by providing books, stationery, and essential learning materials. Our aim is to ensure that a lack of resources does not become a barrier to learning. Even small support in education can help a child move forward with hope and self belief.
Sukruti Vahini was founded by Dr. Sangeetha and Sasikanth. Coming from different professional backgrounds, they share a common belief that service becomes meaningful when it is sincere, consistent, and rooted in responsibility.
The trust continues its work with the understanding that goodness grows when shared, and that thoughtful action, carried out quietly and steadily, can bring lasting change to lives and communities.
